Yara Yousry

Yara Yousry is a senior Architecture student at The American University in Cairo. Yara is an undergraduate teaching assistant and a Graphic designer at the Office of Athletics at The American University in Cairo. Yara is very interested in sustainable development and helping shrinking communities. She has participated in previous SDGs projects, the Cairo Bike project, in a collaboration between AUC, UNHabitat, and Sheffield university. She has also participated in Under the Starry Sky Program by the WFUNA “Youth Action for SGDs” to implement a sustainable project that will help revive El Bahtiny Village in Ismailia by utilizing Agriculture waste in developing a Material Driven Design.
