This collection on “Temporal Urbanism” invites research that re-examines past urban sustainability strategies through a time-based lens, using longitudinal evaluations and new digital tools to uncover lessons for designing equitable, climate-positive cities by 2050. It seeks empirical audits, contemporary performance analyses, and future-oriented models that integrate environmental, social, and institutional dimensions to accelerate transformative urban change.
