Noha Osama, studied Architectural Engineering in Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. After graduation, she worked as a Design Architect in Dar Al Handasah and then started her academic career; working as a teacher assistant in Ain Shams University and Arab Academy for science and technology. Meanwhile, she started and finished her master’s degree from Arab Academy for science and technology in Learning through landscapes in Egyptian public schools. It mainly focuses on studying the probability of designing school grounds, to improve outdoor learning and develop children's skills. She aims to utilize her architectural knowledge, both professionally and academically to enrich the lives of children by helping them connect with nature, play and learn outdoors, develop social skills through a smart integrated solution raising the quality of education within. Noha is also a Green Classroom Professional and LEED Green Associate Certified from U.S. Green Building Council.
Engaged Sustainable Futures offers a platform for interdisciplinary ventures that aim to uncover the many possible sustainable futures of the built environment. Based in the Department of Architecture at the American University in Cairo, ESF MAM-BE achieves its vision through research, pedagogy, and creation.
