Mounet Ramy is an Architectural senior student at The American University in Cairo. She became passionate to know more about architecture and its relation with various aspects and how these aspects intertwine together in this field to create a creative, livable place for people that evokes emotions. Mounet is also passionate about being exposed to new challenges. She found that she became interested in sustainability right after taking Design III. Mounet took part in a collaborative project “Cairo Bike”. That collaboration was between AUC, UN Habitat and Sheffield university. Such an opportunity has fostered her thinking process, as working with foreign students who totally have different mindsets was a great experience for her. She is currently working as a teaching assistant for Design III.
