Moataz M. ElDakroury

Moataz is a mechanical engineer with a keen passion and proven expertise in Computer-Aided Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, and Numerical Techniques. He graduated in 2018 with a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering at the top of his class and with honors. Moataz is currently working as a Teaching and Research Assistant and pursuing his graduate studies in the Mechanical Engineering Department at AUC. His research is currently focused on assessing the effectiveness of Wind Catchers as means of improving passive cooling and ventilation inside buildings as a part of an internally funded research project in the Architecture Department at AUC. Moataz’s research interests are broad, including Green Building Technologies, Fluid-Structure interaction (FSI), Optimization of Energy Systems, Energy Management, and Renewable Energy.
