Mayar Hazem

My name is Mayar Hazem Omran. I’m an Architect and interior designer. I also work as a teaching and research assistant at AUC. I graduated from The American University in Cairo with a B.Sc Degree in Architectural Engineering. From a young age brought up by architects, I became absorbed in architecture. I grew up fascinated by our environment and ecology, leaning towards immersing myself in nature with all its aspects. From then, my passion and interest in sustainability only grew, inspiring me in my career and research journey to experiment and search for design solutions that can pursue protection for our natural environment, species and secure a better future for the upcoming generations to try to make this world a better place.
